    I started Narrative in order to challenge the speciality scene in Singapore, and to make coffees that I adore much more accessible and fun for people to explore and fall in love with. I love folk music, experimenting with food, and endurance sports. My go-to coffee is a washed Ethiopian or a sweet comforting cup from Honduras.

    I love travelling and exploring new places. I’m also a half-marathoner. Being a cancer survivor has changed my perspective in life — establishing a café has always been our dream and I’m glad I’m able to share quality coffees with our community.

    My go-to drink is an oat latte (iced if it's a warm day), but lately I’m into funky and fruity filter coffees. When I'm not getting coffee grounds on my shoes, I enjoy crafting, watching movies and working out. My happy place is in nature, soaking in the fresh air and the company of family and friends.

    I’m terrible at holding chopsticks and almost always in a bucket hat. In my down time, I’m usually cooking up a storm, searching for sourdough, or plugged in to Taiwanese indie or Korean alt-rock. My go-to is a Daterra iced white.

    My happy place is a good read in gloomy weather, with Cigarettes After Sex playing in the background. In my downtime I enjoy trying new food places (I especially love roast meats and yakitori). Fun fact: I actually get sleepy after drinking coffee, especially pour-over coffee.
